ELDER PATRIOT – According to Webster the definition of invasion is:
- : an act of invading; especially: incursion of an army for conquest or plunder
- : the incoming or spread of something usually hurtful
There is no requisite for the invaders to be armed for it to be termed an invasion. Termites invade houses and gnaw at the infrastructure until the building becomes structurally unsound. That is the plan the open borders crowd is actively pursuing – the collapse of our economic and welfare structures.
The brazen flying of the Mexican flag by protestors at Trump’s rallies in America’s Southwest signifies only one front of their assault on our country’s footings. The waving of a foreign flag on our soil is meant to infuriate average Americans and to distract our attention from the other front that their invasion has been attacking, America’s skilled STEM workers.
While the Obama administration has been touting their record of job creation, they have also been unable to refute the skyrocketing number of unemployed Americans. The two competing statistics can only be reconciled when it is understood that virtually every job that has been created during Obama’s seven and a half years has been filled by foreign immigrants – both legal and illegal.
Compounding growing unemployment among American born workers has been the abuse of the H-1B visa program and the blind-eye that Congress and the president has turned towards it.
The United States Department of Labor is clear on the conditions necessary for the issuance of an H-1B visa: The intent of the H-1B provisions is to help employers who cannot otherwise obtain needed business skills and abilities from the U.S. workforce by authorizing the temporary employment of qualified individuals who are not otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
The program was a sham from the beginning. The United States has long led the world in producing highly skilled scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians (STEM.) The H-1B visa is the product of corporate lobbying efforts solely because they want to reduce their employee costs.
The invading army is well funded and well connected having the financial and political backing of virtually every Silicon Valley company, that collectively save billions of dollars annually through reduced compensation costs.
The number of H-1B visas that have been issued is closely guarded, clearly for political reasons. The result of the H-1B visa has been to force skilled American workers out of their jobs in favor of immigrants who willingly work for considerably lower wages. This also adds additional stress to our already overburdened entitlement system. The resulting diminishment of taxes collected from the lower compensation employees also compounds our country’s debt crisis.
Among the twenty plus candidates who decided to run for president from all of our political parties only Donald Trump has taken the backs of America’s workers.
Only Trump has been willing to call this invasion what it is.
Only Trump has displayed the vision, leadership, and courage that Americans reflexively know it will take to save their country.
