But 50 years ago in 1965, the number 1 hit song was “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” by The Righteous Brothers.

Fifty years ago today The Righteous Brothers’ song was all the rage. It went on to be the fifth biggest song of 1965. But it’s fame didn’t end there. In 1986 it made another return to the Billboard charts when it was featured in Top Gun.
It’s no question why this song has stood the test of time. If you’re not sure what it sounds like listen to it in the recordings below.
But recording artists like Tom Jones and Jesse J have even sung it as recently as in 2015’s Grammy Awards.
